Attorney Chitra Ramanathan

Since graduation from the Villanova University School of Law in 2000, Chitra Ramanathan has worked continuously in the legal field, and has practiced law in four states (Pennsylvania, Ohio, Minnesota, North Dakota) before becoming licensed in California in 2014. A former public defender in Pennsylvania, Chitra now practices law in Fremont, California. Her trial and appellate work includes experience with many types of cases, ranging from criminal felonies to misdemeanors. Chitra also has extensive experience from her work as a legal aid attorney in the areas of Family Law, Education Law and Estate Planning.
